To our valued customers outside of the U.S. & Canada - If your bank does not subscribe to the AVS/CVV (Address Verification System/3 digit security code) systems we ask that you utilize PayPal to checkout. The reason for this is that if your card company or bank does not participate in AVS & CVV yet, your payments will be declined and show as failed. You can use PayPal to pay by credit card, bank account or by PayPal account with no trouble. Just look for the PayPal option during checkout.

Most Canadian customers will not have a problem as the majority of Candian banks are utilizing this security technology which is fast becoming the standard for accepting transactions. However, even some smaller U.S. banks are not yet providing the security for their customers to use this technology. Those domestic transactions will fail also.

Please remember that your transaction has to match your address & zip code as they are on file with your credit card company and bank. The CVV code is that 3 digit security code on the back of the card in the signature block. It's purpose is to communicate to the merchant on non-face-to-face transactions that you are in physical possession of the card. Transactions without a matching address & zip, and/or matching CVV will fail. Transactions that fail will be a sent a PayPal invoice to pay from. (Though sending that invoice will take a few days once we've left on hiatus).

In the wee hours of Thursday, May 29, 2008 R'Chel's brother, author Frank E Bittinger, lost his home to an arson fire meant to consume his neighbor's house.

In addition to his career as an author, Frank rescues homeless animals, pays for their neutering/spaying, rehabilitates those who are ill and finds homes for them. This fund is for the smoke and fire related vet bills, and accomodations of the cats, birds, bunnies, iguanas, dogs, and the others who survived; as well as for the final expenses of those who were tragically lost. Your donations will help him rebuild their home, and to continue providing for these animals in the interim.

Donations in any amount are greatly appreciated, and go directly to Frank. Another fund was started, which some of you may have donated to. The adminstrator of that fund has since gone out of business and is no longer accepting donations. This is now the official donation portal for Frank E Bittinger and animals. Here are some more cutoff dates as we prepare to head out on our annual hiatus. :)

Saturday June 21st 11pm EST will be the final day to order the following for creation & shipping before hiatus:

Orders placed prior to Sunday June 22nd 11pm EST will have our full effort to have completely shipped. In the instance that we can't ship something we do end up having some supply orders shipped to us in Oregon and ship a few items from there each year.

Each order after Sunday will be on a case by case basis & will depend on whether we have the items in stock. We never intentionally leave an order unshipped until we return if the items are available in house to ship to you! If you have questions on whether your order can go out (placed between Sunday June 22 & Wednesday June 25) please ask.

Wednesday June 25 and Thursday June 26 will be our last shipping days until we return.

The same goes for Custom Crafted Books of Shadows. We have time to finish those that have been ordered already, but orders from today on will be created once we return to production at the end of July.

As far as candles, bath & body, incense, runes, etc go, we currently are not working on a cut off for those handcrafted items. We'll keep you informed about the cut offs for other products as time grows nearer to our hiatus.
