In the heart of Wiltshire England, near the site of Silbury Hill and the Avebury stone circle flows an ancient spring. Water only rises on the chalk downs of the area in the winter and beginning of the new year and eventually feed the Kennet River. Swallowhead Springs emerges from a small wall of chalk at the corner of a meadow. This spring has been sacred for thousands upon thousands of years. People have collected the sacred waters for cleansing, ritual, healing, and spiritual uses, and have left offerings and offered prayers at this site. The spring's waters are strongly associated with our Earth Mother and fertility. Perfect for all types of magickal uses, this water can be used to cleanse your crystals and ritual tools, as well as for casting circles, fertility spells and any other spells which call for water.
