Description:
Oats are a grass that grows as tall as 3 feet. It has holow stems with leaves. It is native to Europe, but oat plants can now be found all over the world. The grass is harvested at the end of the summer.
Dosage:
As an infusion, add 2-3 tsp oat straw to 1 cup boiling water and infuse for 10-15 minutes. Drink 3 times daily.
As a tincture, take 3-5 ml 3 times each day.
For a bath, make an infusion adding 1 pound oat straw to 2 quarts boiling water and infuse for 30 minutes. Strain and add the liquid portion to a bath.
