Background: Wild lettuce has many medicnial uses. It was used in ancient times to treat eye problems. It was also thought to have a toxic effect similar to that of opiates. In modern times we now know that wild lettuce is not toxic. It can be used as a sedative and pain reliever. Wild lettuce is also believed to lower sex drive.

Sleeplessness: Wild lettuce may be used to relax the body and promote sleep in children and adults.
Pain relief:Wild lettuce may be used as a pain reliever.

Wild lettuce is a biennial plan thtat is native to Euorpe. It is harvested in the summer when it is in flower.
Dosage:
As an infusion, drink 1 cup 3 times daily.
As a tincture, take 1-2 ml 3 times daily.
