Product Description

Made from hardwood Birch. Each rune is specially burnt into one side of the wood with the Futhark symbol. The other side has an initial of your choice burnt into it. There are 25 runes in each set including the blank rune, for those who wish to incorporate the blank Wyrd rune into readings. These runes come to you without a seasoning or oil finish. They are completely natural other than being sanded smooth. This allows you to seal or oil them as you wish. Birch is the tree which is found at the beginning of the sacred Celtic Tree Ogham as the Birch Tree in itself represents new beginnings & opportunities. As each magickal working or divination must have a beginning, and one unconsciously puts oneself into a different mindset at the moment you form the idea to begin the divination, we felt Birch was the perfect wood to craft runes from. From a spiritual standpoint, Birch represents a state of unselfishnesss and caring for others. This too we find symbolic for divination purposes. Comes with a velour bag & flyer with rune descriptions. (multiple initials shown are for illustration only...your set will be personalized with one initial.)
