





Galega officinale. A handsome, ferny looking, hardy perennial that is also known as French Lilac that needs full sun. Can be grown in zones 3-9. Will grow to about 5 feet tall. Features light green leaves with lilac-blue flowers. It is a vigorous, bushy plant.
In folk medicine, it is said that Goat's Rue is the most powerful of all herbs for increasing milk supply and it may also have supportive action in lowering blood sugar in diabetics.
Some of these may be classed as noxious weeds in your locale. Where I grew up on the west coast, Morning Glory is a noxious weed. Here on the East Coast it is a beloved garden flower.
