Gorgeous Irish Donegal Wool Kinsale cloak. Pure Irish Donegal wool fabric-woven by master crafts folk of Ireland and used for generations for its superior insulating and moisture-wicking properties to ward off the cool damp weather of the North Atlantic. Now you can experience Donegal wool for yourself in this heirloom design.

Back before weavers began experimenting with dyes on their wool, craftsmen were limited to wool which was the natural color of their sheep. Farmers with black sheep had black wool, and those with white sheep had white wool. By combining the two all the shades of gray were available. This wool celebrates that legacy and is a combination of black & white. Up close the individual colors are evident, but when you step back it turns into a beautiful gray color from a short distance.

Lined in black. Celtic knot design buttons attach the hood to the collar & a large hook & eye closure keeps it snug at your neck. The hood ties can be let out so the hood drapes around your shoulders for added beauty, too. Hemmed to 54 inches long. 103-1/2 inches wide at the bottom of the hem.

This item is one-of-a-kind & is ready to be shipped.

Dry-cleanable. May be washed in tepid water and mild soap, do not wring and dry flat. Do not bleach. Mothproof when storing.
