Tangerine quartz helps to activate the 2nd Chakra. Activates sexuality, creativity and brings energy to the user. Tangerine Quartz is a beautiful quartz, normally found in Brazil. Tangerine Quartz has also been found in Madagascar. The gorgeous orange coloring of this quartz comes about naturally. Natural mineral deposits on the crystals cause the tangerine coloring. Iron enriched soil may be a factor as well. Tangerine Quartz has clear quartz properties as well as its' own properties. It is said that this quartz enhances one's strength and also helps balance or level the emotions, thus making one feel more calmly detached instead of panicky or upset. A Golden Healer crystal is partially or totally covered with a transparent golden-yellow mineral. This has been used to assist one in attaining and maintaining contact with the spiritual worlds and to incite healing on all levels. Record Keeper
Record Keeper crystals are recognized by several perfect triangles on one or more of the crystal faces. Thes look as though they've been drawn, carved or shaved into the crystal point's face. They contain ancient wisdom and knowledge and are to be used only by those with open minds and pure hearts. It is felt by many that the Atlantians and Lemurians (who are also responsible for Lemurian Seed Crystals) are responsible for leaving behind these most sacred crystals holding the knowledge and wisdom of the universe. They provide a deeper access to personal wisdom and promote a greater peace. They are usually personal meditation crystals used by placing the triangles over the third eye chakra. When a person is properly attuned to a Record Keeper, its ancient knowledge is readily made available.
In order to see these markings, you must tilt the crystal face until the glare of a bright light is seen on that particular face (until the face looks white with the glare of the light) you should then be able to see any record keeper markings on the face if they are there. On crystals that have none, the face will look like a piece of glass with the sun shining on it (bright, but blank). When it has recorders, they will look like little outlines of triangles with shadows like the ones pictured above. Sometimes the entire crystal will have only one marking on one face, sometimes it will have literally dozens on each face. Some are stacked, some aren't. You must have bright light and the
right angle to see these, however.
The record keeper markings look like they are raised and that you would be able to feel them if you rub on them. However, the surface of the crystals feel as glassy smooth as a crystal without these markings.
Dow
A Dow crystal has three, primary, seven-sided faces and three secondary triangular faces between them. It is believed this crystal is a combination crystal that incorporates the properties of both a Channneler and a Transmitter crystal in one crystal. It helps facilitate intuitive awareness and connection with All That Is. It is considered one of the "Twelve Master Crystals" and is a powerful teaching and healing crystal.
