Traditionally, eggshells are buried or burned in healing spells, often after having been carried by and therefore "absorbing" the illness of a patient. Eggshells have historically been used as a womb symbol through wich energy can be nurtured to maturity.

Ground eggshell can be used during spellwork by sprinkling it around your home or workplace to promote a peaceful and protective aura.

These eggshells come from Frank's rescued quail, Maria. Maria, and her friend Hector, were scheduled to appear on a restaurant's menu as part of their special of the day in June 2008. Frank interceded and managed to rescue the two. Though Maria did lose her feet due to the cruel practice of the breeder who binds the female quail's ankles in order to sex them, she is happy and well adjusted. She has no trouble getting around her pen, and has been very energetically laying eggs. These were unfertilized eggs. We've cleaned, blown & dried these eggs whole for you.

Would make a lovely basket at Ostara (or any time of the year really), or string colored thread through the blowing holes & hang on your Ostara tree! Place them in a nest on your altar, etc.

Each is shipped whole (aside from the holes created for blowing), though we cannot guarantee that they will arrive to you whole (they are eggshells after all!). The photo is a good example of how beautiful these ivory and brown eggs are. You get 6 clean, blown & dried eggshells.
