Some years ago, the name Boji Stone was coined for Pop Rocks (or Kansas Pop Rocks) and patented by an American dealer, after she had amassed a large quantity of a type of Marcasite nodules which can be found in a certain area of Kansas. In her advertising material, she points strongly out to the fact that these stones have nothing to do with Pyrite.
This is in fact quite correct, as Marcasite, although having the same chemical formula as Pyrite, has a different internal structure. Marcasite has a tendency to be more unstable than Pyrite, and it can crumble when exposed to air over a period of time. This rather undesirable property (which is described as Boji death) can be avoided either by giving the stone a particular (and of course costly) treatment or by rubbing the stone between ones fingers every now and then, in order to give it a protective layer of oil.
In addition, the above-mentioned person created an aura of mysticism around this otherwise common mineral, which befitted the certificates the stones were sold with, and not least the prices she charged.
In the meanwhile, she entered into a number of exclusive marketing agreements with dealers in other countries, and she went so far as to warn people in the stone business against using the name Boji Stones for Marcasite nodules which had not been purchased from her. True to the spirit of sue-as-you-go in the United States, she published a special leaflet which explained how she had won a 20.000 US$ settlement in a lawsuit against someone who had been so foolish as to use the name Boji for the nodules.
Thus the name Pop-Rocks started to be used by other mineral dealers to counteract the Boji-ladys marketing methods, and this term has become widely accepted among the many admirers of these attractive little Marcasites.
The appearance of the Boji Stone is humble & enigmatic. They manifest a powerful healing energy. They are a commposite of palladium and pyrite. The stones have a high iron content and are excellent for grounding, electromagnetic, and chakra work. They balance the body's energy field. Many have found they reduce pain by holding 1 in each hand. To recharge place in the sun, or full moonlight.
Boji stones come in male, female and androgynous forms and in various sizes. Females are are solid round, grey-brown discs while males have many platelets of protruding minerals points emanating from them. Androgynous forms combine the characterists of both shapes and can be used as either male or female.
Bojis can transfer energy from the etheric to the physical body. It will clean, recharge and fill with positive energy, all of the voids or holes in the aura and the auric field.
Bojis will also be used from the crown to the root chakra by utilizing a spinning, moving clockwise energy field. To facilitate this, you would select one of the stones either male or female and place it above, but not touching the crown chakra and then place the other of the pair near, but not on the root chakra. Holding these in place for about five minutes will align all the chakras.
The energy within the stones will of itself, create this clockwise motion between the root and the crown chakras. Another placement would be to either hold a male in the left hand and a female in the right hand for five minutes to balance the left and right brain. This facilitates an ability to access into your artistic side more freely. This also balances the male/female energy of the body. It assists in the removal of any energy blockages within the body. You can do this daily and will notice a large difference in how your body feels. You will feel more energy and a push pull energy flow as the blockages are removed. It sets up an electromagnetic field which enhances the energy or the electrical structure of the body.
You can also do a layout by placing one of the stones near but not touching the right temple and the other near but not touching the left temple. Leave these in place for five minutes. This will create an alignment between the right and left sides of the brain to bring forth the hemisync process or the balancing or right and left brain. This will bring much more clarity and allow one to access a higher percentage of brain function. It can raise your brain function to the potential of six percent.
The average brain potential is three percent. Genius level can be as high as eight percent. This technique will also assist in drawing out excess aluminum which is stored in the memory bank of the brain and allow it to be passed through the system via the normal elimination processes.
Note that the layouts given above should only be done for five minutes. Doing them for a longer period of time can actually reverse the process. Do only once a day.
The stones can be used in general healing and cell regeneration where other activities have caused cells to die such a radiation treatments. Also, these can be used for sprains and strains by applying any Boji stones on the area affected. It will alleviate the pain.

To care for your stones, handle them often and give them sunlight once or twice a week. They prefer the morning light of the red rays and the afternoon blue rays. They also like the rays of a full moon. If you desire to clean them, use baking soda and a toothbrush.
