1-5/8 inch long x 1-1/4 inch tall x 1/2 inch wide stone, hand carved horse figure.
The horse has been revered throughout history and across a diversity of cultures. In ancient Babylon horses were identified with the God, Zu. Ikkos is the Greek word for horse and translates to 'the great light'. In Hebrew, the word for horse means 'to explain' and thus equates the horse with human intellect. Latin's Equus translates to 'light of the great mind', or soul. The Norse God, Odin, rode a swift horse across the sky and down into the realm of death. In ancient Germania, tribes used horses for divination as they believed the horse was more in contact with the Gods than were their own priests.
The horse gives us the ability to explore worlds and dimensions beyond the ordinary and is a powerful spiritual ally when exploring the unknown.
